How to Play Dragonkind: A Threshing Guide
Dragonkind is Rebecca Yarros’s interactive Threshing experience in the world of Fourth Wing. Follow the scenes in the official game. This player guide explains sign-in, Valley choices, and retries while keeping community routes separate from official rules.
ENTER THE VALLEY
How the Dragonkind game works
- 01
Open Dragonkind and enter your email
Start at the official Dragonkind site and request a sign-in code. The current entry flow uses email.
- 02
Enter the one-time code
Codes may arrive in batches. Check spam if it is not in your inbox yet, then give delivery a little time.
- 03
Receive your rider assignment
The game assigns your Wing, Section, and Squad before you enter the Threshing Valley. Treat these as part of your run, not a proven dragon-bonding bonus.
- 04
Make choices through the Valley
Scenes ask how you travel, respond to danger, and approach dragons. The route atlas collects known branches and links each marker to its evidence.
- 05
Bond, or note where the run ends
A run can end with a dragon bond or a death. Record the scene, your choice, and the result so other players can compare it.
- 06
Use the in-game timer to try again
Rebecca Yarros’s FAQ says you can try again after a few hours and places no limit on attempts. Her Dragonkind announcement described a four-hour retry timer; follow the countdown shown in your Rotunda.
Route note: similar choices can lead to different outcomes. Bold responses to Orange dragons have especially conflicting player reports; check the evidence labels before relying on a tip.
QUICK ANSWERS
Codes, death, and retries
Official information covers account access and retries. Route choices remain scene-dependent and player-reported.
Why did my Dragonkind login code not arrive?
The official FAQ says codes are sent in batches. Check spam and wait a little before requesting another code.
Can I keep trying after I die?
Yes. The official FAQ says there is no limit to the number of attempts; you can return after the cooldown ends.
Is there one correct route or a shouting trick?
There is no published choice key. Community players have reported different outcomes from similar choices, so treat route notes as observations rather than guaranteed instructions.
An unofficial player guide. Routes and approach notes are community observations, may be incomplete, and do not guarantee an outcome.
